Reinforced Hollow Section
Reinforced Hollow Section or RHS is
one of the most versatile products made from steel and is available
in a variety of shapes and sizes.
RHS is cold-rolled, direct-formed welded
carbon steel. It is available in square, round and rectangular shapes
for general structural purposes. While it is used widely in fabrication
and furniture manufacturing, it is also specified where strong lightweight
frame construction is desirable.
At
Caribbean Steel Mills we have adopted a new “clear-coat” rust- inhibiting
process. This process, while eliminating the handling and surface
preparation difficulties associated with traditional grease and oil-based
applications, also guarantees protection from the elements and improves
the product’s shelf life.
